KEY CONNECTIONS:
It is common knowledge that parental involvement is an important key to a student’s academic and personal success. One of Bright Key®’s goals is to impact not only the whole child, but also the whole family. We seek to support and equip the family unit so that the family is better equipped to support the students.
The program team determined that the Key Connections program will be two-fold in its purpose: to provide more social opportunities for students and their families to connect with each other, teachers and administration and also to provide learning opportunities for parents and caregivers that will help students succeed.
The Program Team partners heavily with Highlands PTO to plan and assist with events on campus like Parent Workshop Nights, Open House/Back-to-School Parties, etc. Due to Covid, many of these plans will need to be modified this year, but the Program Team is actively looking for ways to engage the whole family on campus.
